The Nadi Town Mayor said that dredging work that is nearing completion will solve their flood problems as it was never dredged.
Speaking to Fijivillage News, Timoci Koroqica said nearly 70% of the dredging work for the first phase has finished and he hopes that Interim Government will continue to support them so that the second phase of the work starts smoothly.
He adds that the Land Resources and Water Management and the Minister for Agriculture will be working on water catchment plans.
