The representative of the Tokaimalo Electrification Scheme, Tevita Nakabea while receiving the grant from the Fiji Water Foundation said that 11 villages will benefit from the project.

Nakabea said that they need to collect $150,000 for the project and are very near to deposit their share of the money with the Energy Department.

He said the villagers have contributed a lot of money since they started collections from the past two months as they have to collect 5% of their share and the rest will come from the government.
