It was a dream comes true for 22-year-old Jokim Kitolelei who is one of the recipients of the Japanese Government Scholarship.
At a farewell ceremony for the Awardees, Jokim Kitolelei who will be going to Kagoshima University for a Major in Development of fishing villages in coastal areas said his skills will assist him in developing fisheries in Fiji.
Another student, 18yr old Labasa student Rinal Prasad who said his parents faced hardship but managed to get him educated added he never dreamt about getting a scholarship.
26yr old Rusila Savou will be going to Okinawa to major in Environmental Engineering at Graduate School of Engineering and Science of Ryukyu University.
The three recipients will undergo their intensive Japanese Language studies before beginning their studies.
The three leave for Japan next week.
