It was a dream come true for Australian born Richard Tanumi to meet the King of Pop Michael Jackson before his death.
Tanumi, whose mum hails from Soso in Kadavu, is an acclaimed singer and dancer, was one of the Top 20 dancers shortlisted as Jackson's back-up dancers for his last tour "This is it ".
Tanumi said meeting 50 year old Jackson is something he will never forget.
He added when he heard the news of Jackson's death, his first reaction was disbelief adding this was a loss for the music world.
In his career in the music industry, Tanumi has had the chance of partnering with Britney Spears, hip-hop artist Fergie, actor Hugh Jackman in a musical play as well as singing with Deni and Marcia Hines.
Tanumi is currently in the country and returns to the US to set up a recording contract to release his new album.
