From Nabasovi village in Koro to Sydney.
It is a dream come true for 14-year-old Apenisa Rakanace of Nabasovi District School in Koro to be selected to join the Suva Under 14 rugby team to tour Australia in December.
Rakanace who is also related to Vodafone Fiji 7s wing, Savenaca Rawaca says he is the second rugby player from his school to join the Suva team for an overseas tour.
Last year, Samuela Bainikalou toured with the Suva team and is now at Lelean Memorial School.
Rakanace was playing for the Lomaiviti Under 14 team where they lost in the Plate final of the Rewa Galaxy Tournament in August.
Meanwhile his school teacher Raymond Rao says they will go back to Koro on Monday as the school and his family will be having a farewell feast before they leave for Sydney.
The Suva Under 14 Rugby team will be leaving on December 6th and return on the 3rd of January.
