The public will be treated to an educational dance showing the struggles of a young mother and her two daughters as they try to make a living despite the mother having HIV and AIDS.

The play and drama coordinated by UNAIDS and the University of the South Pacific sees dancers from the Oceania Dance Group and Monfort Boys Town taking to the stage for three days.

Coordinator Steven Vete said this is a good medium to show the public the struggle a person with HIV and AIDS goes through.

In the play, the young mother is ostracized by society and fends for her two daughters, Loloma and Moana.

The play is held for the next two days at the Suva Civic Centre.
