The government is yet to decide on the date for consultations and the implementation of the Media Decree.
It was earlier announced that the draft Media Decree is ready and would be distributed for consultations.
However this did not happen due to Hurricane Tomas.
Permanent Secretary for Information Lt Colonel Neumi Leweni said the government's focus now is on the hurricane relief efforts.
