Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama said people should not be bothered about the re-imposition of the Public Emergency Regulation as there is no threat to their safety and security.

While answering questions posed by the media on when the Emergency regulation will be lifted at the Nasese foreshore, Commodore Bainimarama said people should not feel unsafe with the regulation put in place.

He even asked some tourist standing nearby by whether they felt any discomfort with the Public Emergency Regulation now in place.
