The Police Commissioner has today called on the members of the public not to live in fear.
His comments follow calls by the retailers and Tavua community for constant police patrolling following a number of violent robberies and a murder in the last few weeks.
Commodore Esala Teleni said that police are there to protect the society and people should also help police to combat criminal activities.
He has also highlighted that police are responding well to criminal activities.
