Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase stresses that the interim government must not shy away from its obligations to the people of Fiji by boycotting the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum in Niue.
Qarase said the decision will definitely have serious consequences on Fiji's relations with its Pacific neighbors.
Qarase also stresses that neither the interim government nor the Pacific Islands Forum can decide on when elections should be held as it is a decision the people of Fiji must decide upon.
