Flying Fijians 15's rugby head coach Samu Domoni Junior has cleared the air on the decision made by the national selectors to name many overseas based players for the Europe tour next month.
Domoni said they will be up against Tier 1 Nations in this Test match and they have decided to give the overseas players a chance to prove themselves that they can be in the team for next year's World Cup.
He added that many rugby fans have questioned the decision on why only two players from the champion Nadroga side are in the team for the Europe Tour but Domoni clarified that most of them have shown the selectors their capability when they played in the national 15's team during the Pacific Nations Cup.
Domoni said upcoming players in the Nadroga team will dominate the Fiji Warriors team that will play against the Super 15 sides, Melbourne Rebels and the NSW Waratahs in January.
The Flying Fijians will take on France on the 13th of next month in their first game of the Europe Tour.
Fiji will also play Wales and Italy.
