Vodafone Fiji 7s prop Apisai Domolailai says he has improved on his speed, endurance and power and is ready for the Wellington 7s.
Domolailai says they will need to improve on their communication on the field and focus on retaining the ball.
Domolailai says the new law in place for substitution will definitely help them.
Meanwhile coach Ben Ryan says one player he is excited to see this weekend is France-based Semi Kunatani.
Fiji is in Pool B with Japan, Wales and Argentina in the Wellington tournament.
They will take on Japan at 11.36am this Saturday.
Fiji will face Wales at 2.38pm and take on Argentina at 5.46pm this Saturday.
The Cup quarters will start at 12.02pm Sunday, the Cup semis start at 4.27pm while the Cup final kicks off at 7.30pm.
