Doctors at the public hospitals are expected to be affected if they continue doing extra hours everyday during the nurses strike.
Fiji Medical Association spokesperson, Dr James Fong confirms that they are doing extra shifts and adds that it is imperative that doctors and staff get rest after working such long hours.
Fong confirms that as yet there have not been any reports that any of the deaths occurring has been a direct result of the nurses strike.
