There is some good news for doctors and nurses, as the Ministry of Health has confirmed they are working on improving the salaries and working conditions of people working in both professions.
In an exclusive interview with Fijivillage News, Interim Health Minister, Dr Jiko Luveni revealed that they are now working on their submissions and the improvement in the salaries is expected to take place this year.
Luveni adds Fiji is facing a lot of difficulties regarding the shortage of doctors and nurses and this measure is urgently needed.
