The Public Service Commission has fined two doctors who were under investigation in relation to the death of five year old Shavneet Kumar who died at the CWM hospital after being in coma for eight days.
Health Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Dr Lepani Waqatakirewa confirms Doctors Luke Nasendra and Teresa Lum have been found guilty of negligence during and after Kumar's surgery.
He adds they will now decide on what sort of fine will be imposed on the two doctors who are still carrying on with their normal duties.
Meanwhile, two more Doctors who were being investigated in relation to this case were earlier freed from their charges.
