The famous Doctor TK from Shortland Street proved he was multi-talented when he took the lead role in the movie: "Love has no Language", which is about a Maori boy falling in love with an Indian girl from a strict traditional family.
Ben Mitchell or Doctor TK from the series, acts the role of Lucky Shaman a theatre director, defies boundaries and falls in love with Marina Roy who is played by Bollywood actress, Celina Jatley.
Mitchell the second eldest in a family of seven who was brought up on a farm in New Zealand and is a sports addict said the movie is applicable for our time when race is always an issue.
He also added that the movie was an eye opener for him as he could identify with the characters as he has links with the Indian community.
Mitchell along with the production cast was on hand last night to sign autographs and even take photographs with fans at Village Six Cinemas.
