The Waratahs must beat the Chiefs in Sydney this weekend or they can probably forget about winning the Australian Super Rugby Conference.
The Waratahs will face a table topping side for a second week running after meeting the Crusaders last weekend.
Coach Darly Gibson said the Waratahs will be focused on winning clean out ball which will give them the opportunity to attack more often.
He said the only injury concern the Waratahs have is No.8 Jed Holloway but he is confident the back rower will be fit to play again this weekend.
The Hurricanes face the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday while the Waratahs play the Chiefs at 9.40pm.
The Crusaders take on the Blues at 7.35pm Saturday.
