Fiji Bati captain Wes Naiqama said they will have to work hard to win the Pacific Cup tournament in Papua New Guinea this weekend.

Naiqama said the challenge would be tough with all four countries, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands and Tonga battling it out to secure the right to join Australia, world champions New Zealand and England in the Four Nations challenge next year.

He has warned his team-mates not to underestimate Tonga, PNG and especially the Cook Islands because it could cost them their chances of making it into the next stage.

Fiji Bati plays Cooks in their opening match tomorrow at 5pm in Port Moresby.
