Do not take any health advisory lightly.
That is the stand of the Health Ministry as they urge members of the public to come forward and get vaccinated for H1N1.
With the number of H1N1 cases reported in Fiji standing at 28, the Health Ministry is not taking any chances during this current weather condition and is urging the general public to get vaccinated.
Ministry spokesperson Peni Namotu said it has been noted that during the cold season and following the outbreak last year, it was during this time that a lot of influenza like cases were reported.
Namotu added the focus now is on the Eastern Division and on Kadavu.
