While our national team is out trying their best to win at international level, we should never overlook our local games.
That is the sentiment of FRU Chairman Bill Gavoka as the rugby season is about to kick start.
Gavoka said there will be a lot of critics but we should never forget the power of rugby in a rugby loving country.
Meanwhile, he added that with the Digicel Fiji 7s team being ranked number 10 in the world and with the Flying Fijians coming off a Northern Hemisphere Tour, 2011 looks to be a fruitful year.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team’s next game is in the first week of February at the New Zealand 7s while in September the RWC kicks off.
