Parents should make sure that their children are never left to their own devices which inturn could lead to disastrous endings.
Ministry Spokesperson, Iliesa Tora said this as the Festive season has seen minors enter nightclubs around the country.
He adds that allowing minors into nightclubs will see young girls end up getting drunk and into situations like getting pregnant at a young age.
Tora says that though they are not able to do much, they are focusing on educating parents on the dangers of minors drinking.
For the new year, 2010 the Ministry will be adopting the theme of "Abstinence" to tackle teenage pregnancies.
Though the Ministry is compiling their data for this year, they reveal that in 2008 there were a total of 1186 teenage pregnancy cases compared to 1237 cases in 2007.
