The Interim Prime Minister has today stated that people should take the global financial crisis into account before speaking about Fiji's economy.
In a press conference today, Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said our neighbours, Australia and New Zealand who were once enjoying surplus economic growth, are now seeing a decline in their economy.
He said it’s not right to blame the December 5th takeover for the current economic status.
Commodore Bainimarama has revealed that a committee will be formed to look into the current economic challenges.
The Committee will include the Governor of the Reserve Bank.
