Diwali is a festival that brings people from different communities together.
This is evident after the Diwali Thali Competition organized by our sister radio station Radio Sargam saw the major prizes won by people from different religion.
First prize was won by Sabasana from Davuilevu Housing, Second prize went to Nasreen Buksh while the third prize was won by Dolly Prasad of Wainadoi, Navua.
Dolly Prasad said Diwali is a festival she always looks forwards to as it carries a very strong message.
Fijivillage also caught up with some members of the public and asked them how they will celebrate this year's Diwali.
