Diwali is the Festival of Lights and the time people remember that good has triumphed over evil and the public has done this by being responsible.
These are the words of Chief Fire Officer of the National Fire Authority Mark Reid when looking back on the celebration that happened last night.
Reid also highlights the fact that this year's celebration has been a quiet one compared to other years and he also said that the only incident was a reported fire in Labasa caused by prayer candles.
