The Health Ministry is working closely with Consumer Council and Commerce Commission on items that should come under price control.
Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma confirmed this saying that there are a lot of discrepancies in the pharmaceutical area and the Ministry is working on regularizing these issues.
Dr Sharma also said that there were two areas of concern and Consumer Council undertook a large survey on the pharmaceutical industry in the private sector.
He said concerns were raised on the ownership and registration of pharmacies in the country.
