The post mortem conducted by police on the two bodies that were found near a picnic spot in Pacific Harbour, revealed the bodies are that of a male and a female.
Chief Investigator ASP Luke Qionibaravi said the identity of the bodies is not known yet, however, they suspect the bodies could belong to the Navua family who have been missing for the past year.
ASP Qionibaravi said they will call the immediate family members to confirm whether the bodies and the clothes of the deceased belong to the Navua family.
ASP Qionibaravi adds a DNA test is likely to be conducted.
