Vodafone Fiji Bati hooker Apisai Koroisau believes Fiji can lift their game to another level if they get the basics right.

The Saunaka man who was raised in Australia said after the team bonding exercise, it has definitely given them something to play for in the Rugby League World Cup.

Koroisau plays for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL competition in Australia and will make his debut in the World Cup.

The 21 year old is one of the youngest players in the Fiji Bati squad.

The Rugby League World Cup kicks off on the 27th of this month with Fiji taking on Ireland in their first match on the 29th at 7am.
