Discipline and patience to execute their game plan will be the key for Tailevu if they are to stand a chance of defending the Farebrother Sullivan trophy against Nadroga this weekend.
These are the words of Tailevu rugby head coach Lance Whippy as they are hoping to prevent Nadroga from lifting both the Digicel and Farebrother trophy down to the vanua of Nakuruvarua.
Whippy said they won’t be carried away with their victory over Nadroga earlier this year but admits that his players are ready for the challenge.
Last year, Nadroga beat Tailevu at Prince Charles Park 43 26.
Tailevu will host Nadroga at 7pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station VITI FM.
