The Fiji National Council for Disabled Persons is hoping the Government will allocate funds in the 2010 Budget for them to build a disability centre in the North.
Executive Director Dr Sitiveni Yanuyanutawa said the ground work for the proposed school has already been finalized, and all they need now is the finance, to construct a similar institution like the existing one at Qarase House in Suva.
Dr Yanuyanutawa said they hope to receive good news come Friday morning.
The 2010 Budget Announcement will be made on the 27th of this month by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
