The disabled community in Fiji is morning the loss of their leader, advocate and friend Akuila Rewatabua, president of the Fiji Disabled People's Association.
Spokesperson, Sainimili Tawake said Rewatabua who is originally from Rukuruku, Ovalau died following a short illness.
She said in recent years, Rewatabua totally committed his time to disability development in the country.
The funeral gathering will be held at FNCD Complex at 3 Brown Street Suva at 2pm today.
He will be laid to rest at the Vatuwaqa cemetery tomorrow.
