There are a lot of young girls that fail to finish their education and through our Tadra Kahani performance we hope to change that.
Dilkusha Girls Primary School student representative Asenaca Dimuri said young girls are usually overlooked by their families and society when it comes to education opportunities, resulting in many not having a good education.
Dimuri said through their performance, they hope to change the mindset and encourage young girls to complete school.
There are 8 primary schools taking part this year in Tadra Kahani and they are St John Bosco, Rishikul Primary, Nakelo District, International Primary, Nabitu District, Pacific Harbour Multi Cultural School, Dilkusha Girls Primary and Bainivalu Primary.
Tadra Kahani will be held from the 19th to the 21st of next month at the Vodafone Arena.
