Mobile phone operator, Digicel, and Telecom Fiji Limited have signed an interim inter-connectivity agreement which would allow customers to make calls from Digicel to a landline at reduced rates.
Commerce Commission Chairman Dr Mahendra Reddy also confirmed that they are now working on reviewing the inter-connectivity charges for other telecommunication providers in the country.
The inter-connectivity rate is the charge from calling for one network to another.
Telecom Fiji and Digicel are yet to comment on the matter.
