Digicel Fiji has today revealed documents that show the Fiji Football Association giving the go ahead to the Ba Football Association about Digicel’s sponsorship.
According to the documents provided by Digicel Fiji, Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel and CEO Bob Kumar had given Ba the permission to go ahead with Digicel’s sponsorship only for the O-League.
Digicel Fiji said it is disappointed with Fiji FA’s decision.
The statement further said Digicel has been in contact with Ba Football and Fiji FA to understand how Digicel will be reimbursed for the $50,000 they have invested in this sponsorship.
We contacted Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel this afternoon who said the matter has been sorted out.
