Digicel Fiji has joined hands with CFL this year to stage the Fiji New Years Eve street party with an aim to give something back to their customers.
Digicel Fiji CEO John Delves said it’s the time when people get in the festive mood and want to enjoy with the friends and family members.
Delves adds the concept of staging a street party such this helps in bringing all sorts of people together at a single place who can welcome the new year in a different style.
Ferris wheels, Bouncy castles, Hot dogs, Ice cream and candy floss will be some of the other attractions at the Legend FM Street Party with Digicel Digi Max which will be held this Thursday from 7pm to 1am at the Albert Park.
Meanwhile, every year, many people in the villages eagerly wait to start beating tins, drums and Lali's while some people usually spend the time partying during New Year.
Fijivillage news went out and spoke to some families on their plans for the New Year celebrations and many say that they will be heading down to Albert Park for the Fiji Street Party to welcome the new year with thousand others.
