With mobile phone operator Digicel Fiji centralising its core operations to Suva, consultations have started with its Nadi based employees who will all be given the opportunity to apply for positions in Suva with successful applicants receiving assistance with the transition.

This has been confirmed by CEO Matt Davey who said employees who do not take up opportunities in Suva will be provided with enhanced separation packages recognizing their contribution to the company.

Davey said they are doing all they can to make the transition process as easy as possible for their employees by providing relocation assistance and enhanced separation packages.

The centralisation will see all departments located at Digicel Fiji's headquarters in Suva at Kadavu House while a smaller regional office in Nadi will continue to serve the West of the country.
