The new mobile company to hit the Fiji market is on track to launch at the end of the year.

Digicel Pacific Managing Director Niamh Byrne reassured the public saying the company is working hard on getting the network ready to launch before the end of the year.

Byrne said they are also looking forward to providing the people of Fiji with choice and access to a world class mobile telecommunications service.

Digicel is one of two mobile companies issued a license to provide services to the people of Fiji.

The company was handed their license earlier this year by former Interim Telecommunications Minister Tom Ricketts.
