The Digicel Fiji 7s team defeated Portugal this morning by 24 points to 10 to win the Plate Final at the England 7s.
Fiji scored three tries that came from Nasoni Roko, Emosi Vucago and Waqabaca Kotobalavu.
Speaking from Twickenham stadium after the win, Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Iliesa Tanivula said that all teams have improved over the series.
Fiji was bundled out in the Cup quarterfinals after they lost to a much improved New Zealand team by 33-14.
Kenya beat Wales by 12-7 to win the Bowl final and Canada beat USA by 27-7 to take the Shield.
After the Plate finals Fiji is second to South Africa on 82 points and South Africa lead by 116 while England is third on 76 points.
