The 12 member Digicel Fiji 7s team for the Hong Kong 7s has been named with Nemani Nagusa chosen to captain the side.
Despite his average performance in the last two legs, coach Alifereti Dere still has high hopes for Nagusa.
Fijivillage questioned Dere on how Nagusa was picked to lead the side in the Hong Kong tournament.
Newly appointed captain Nagusa said he is ready to lead the side and win back the hearts of rugby fans even without the services of two key players.
Also making his return to the side is Osea Kolinisau who last played in Gold Coast last year.
Meanwhile, three debutants have also been named in the team with former Ratu Navula School student Donasio Ratubuli, Nadroga halfback Sakiusa Gavidi and Suva's play maker Emosi Mulevoro coming in.
The full team, In the forwards Jasa Veremalua, Ulaiyasi Lawavou, Jone Vota, Leone Nakarawa and Nemani Nagusa.
The back line will have Ilai Tinai, Benito Eramasi, Saimisoni Viriviri, Emosi Mulevoro, Sakuisa Gavidi, Osea Kolinisau as Vice Captain and Donasio Ratubuli.
The Hong Kong 7s starts next Friday with Fiji taking on Hong Kong at 9.06pm. On Saturday Fiji will meet Spain at 2.06pm and their last pool match is against Canada at 1054pm.
