The Digicel Fiji 7s rugby team is likely to meet either Australia or Wales in the cup quarter finals of the Dubai 7s barring any upsets.
If Fiji progresses, then they are expected to face either New Zealand or South Africa in the semi finals.
Coach Ben Ryan is closely monitoring the players training as he does not want them to be fatigued in the weekend.
Ryan said when you get to this time in the week it's important you get the balance between recovery and activity right and there is no point in over training but you also need to have an element of hard work in the training too.
Fiji’s first game in the Dubai 7s is against USA at 8.16pm tomorrow, then Canada at 12.46am Saturday before facing England in their last pool match at 5.02am Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Fijiana women’s side will meet New Zealand in their opening pool match at 8:44 tonight, USA at 2:04am tomorrow then Ireland at 4:40am.
