Digicel Cup semifinal spots wide open
Defending champion Nadroga, Lautoka, Suva, Tailevu and Northland are still all in the running for the semifinal and they face a must win situation in all of their remaining two games to book their spot in the semifinal.
Nadroga will host Ovalau at Lawaqa park tomorrow before travelling to take on an improved Northland team next Saturday.
Captain Tiko Matawalu said the message to the players is simple that a loss in one of their last two games will bring an end to their defence of the Digicel Cup campaign this season.
Also Lautoka who are tied with Nadroga in second spot on the points table travel to the hills of Keiyasi tomorrow to take on Navosa.
The Vatureba ground has haunted the Maroons in their past games where they have yet to record a win.
Flying Fijian rep and former Navosa rep Jaoji Dakuvula will lead them with Kelemedi Bola and Anthony Wise.
In the feature game of this round Nadi host Suva who is out to break a 23 year old losing drought at Prince Charles Park.
The Nadi and Suva game kicks-off at 3pm and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
