The Digicel Fiji 7s team remained in 3rd spot in the IRB 7s series points despite losing 21-7 to South Africa in the semifinal of the George 7s this morning.
The Waisale Serevi coached side has 24 points after reaching the semifinals of both the Dubai and George 7s Series.
Serevi said it is not the end of the road for the side as the IRB 7's series will be completed next year and he is placing his faith on his set of boys.
Meanwhile, South African coach, Paul Treu said the win at home was important for his side after New Zealand was leading 7-5 at half-time his side was still able to come back and win 12-7.
South Africa leads the points table with 40 points, followed by New Zealand at second spot with 28 points and Fiji on 3rd place with 24 points.
The next leg of the IRB 7s series will be held in Wellington on the first week of February.
