A different format will be adopted for the women's 7's rugby competition in the Pacific Games.
The Fiji women's team plays Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands and Samoa on the opening day of competition on the 31st of this month and then take on Guam, Tahiti and New Caledonia on day two.
The top 4 finishers’ progress to the medal playoffs on September 2nd with the top two finishers will play for the gold and silver medals while the third and fourth finishers will feature in the bronze medal playoff.
The Pacific Games will start next Saturday in New Caledonia.
