The Digicel Suva 7's oganisers will use a different format in their 2 day tournament which kicks off at the TFL Stadium tomorrow morning.

Chairman Vilikesa Rauca said the 56 teams have been grouped in 14 pools where the top 8 teams, after the first day of competition, will not play in the first elimination.

Rauca adds the rest of the 48 teams will be ranked according to the points they score in the pool games to find out which teams will play in the elimination rounds.

He said they have adopted this format to give all of the 56 teams a level playing field in reaching the final where they can qualify to the International 7's next year.

Suva 7's kicks-off at 9.30am tomorrow at the TFL Stadium and the winner will walk away with $5,000 dollars.
