Differences over Tailevu stance on GCC review
Baleinaivalu said when the review team visited them they were accorded a traditional ceremony of Sevusevu following which Bau Chief Adi Samaununu Cakobau shared some words of wisdom as a matter of respect.
He said the review committee was told that the committee of the Bose Vanua will be set up to deliberate on the two issues and seeks legal advice.
The Komai Nausori said for Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo to jump the gun and say that they have records with them that shows all of the 22 chiefs who were present on the day gave their support to the GCC review team to carry out their work is a lie.
Ratu Nawalowalo said earlier today that Bau chief, Adi Samanunu Cakobau gave her chiefly blessing to the GCC review and urged the chiefs of Tailevu to show their support as it is time to move ahead.
Yesterday, Ratu Meli Baleinaivalu said the 22 chiefs from the various Tikina have rejected the two proposals, after obtaining legal advice on the matter.
