There are clear differences now emerging between the Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi and senior officials of the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU).
With the Wellington 7s kicking off next Friday and the World Cup 7s in Dubai just a month away, Serevi has come and said that he did not have much say in the selection of the Fiji team to the Wellington and San Diego leg.
Now the FRU Chairman Keni Dakuidreketi who announced the team with one of the selectors, Mosese Taga, said Serevi was part of the group that selected the Fiji team.
Dakuidreketi said Serevi is no twisting the story that he did not have any say and he is being pressured to accept the selectors' decisions.
We asked Dakuidreketi if the team was selected without Serevi's input.
Dakuidreketi stressed that Serevi is part of the selection team and people should not get emotional and make personal attacks.
The FRU Chairman said Waisale Serevi signed off on the team submitted for Wellington and Dakuidreketi said he is surprised that Serevi is now saying something else publicly.
