The retail price of Diesel and Kerosene increases from today.
The Prices and Incomes Board (PIB) confirmed that the price of diesel will increase from $1.67 by 4c.
The price of all new stock of kerosene will increase from $1.34 by 4c.
The price of motor spirit and pre-mix outboard fuel stays the same.
The PIB said these prices are based on world prices for the month of October and despite the increase in crude oil prices, product prices have been demand driven resulting in the increase in kerosene and diesel prices.
The weakening of the US dollar against the Fiji dollar in the same month has also cushioned the increase.
Consumers and traders are advised that the prices will vary in others centers due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
