Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel confirms Northern Vice President, Dewan Chand has not lost his post at Fiji FA despite being given a partial prison sentence by the Labasa Magistrates Court.

Patel said there will not be any election for his post in the upcoming Fiji FA annual general meeting on the 9th of next month.

Dewan Chand, charged with two counts of defilement of a Class Eight student in 2010, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment with three years of the sentence suspended.

He will serve the four year sentence behind bars.
