The suspended Commissioner Central, Inoke Devo who faces charges of corruption and abuse of office appeared before Judge Justice Nazhat Shameem in Suva High Court this morning.

Devo's lawyer Apaitia Seru made the submission that Fiji Independent Commission against corruption had no jurisdiction under the constitution to defend the case and that the matter should be transferred to DPP's Office.

Justice Shameem ordered that a letter to be written to DPP to hear its views on the submission.

The case has been adjourned till 28th May to hear submission for DPP on quashing information which was filed by FICAC.
