Major development is in the pipeline for Nasinu Town Council in the next six months which will cost more than $500,000.
Special Administrator Mosese Kama said the plans include a market and a bus station to be built in Valelevu.
Meanwhile Nasinu Town Council is urging its ratepayers to pay outstanding rates and said the council can only function well if rates are paid on time.
According to Kama more than $7 million is owed to the council since its establishment in 2002.
Kama added ratepayers can make arrangement on the payment and if they fail then legal action will be taken.
