Development at Naisoso Island has reached a major milestone this week with the approvals of works for the residential Estate which will allow the title process to start.

In a statement this afternoon, Relcorp Fiji Limited Managing Director Robert Lowres said titles are expected to be issued mid August and the first wave of settlements in the first week of September.

Lowres said works have been completed two months ahead of the program but despite many difficult periods including floods and cyclone, the project continued to proceed without delays.

Relcorp is currently planning the next stage of the works on Naisoso Island in the resort lots and is in discussions with major Hotel operators for an apartment hotel and for 5 star hotel sites.

Civil works for the Resort Lots will start in October this year and the building works to start for the apartment hotel in the new year.

Lowres said the completion of stage 1 of Naisoso Island sends a very strong message to the International market place that major projects can work in Fiji.
